Town Beach
Leaving the association on Riverbend Road and before the paved hill, take the road to your right. Proceed on this road till you come to an iron gate. Entrance to the Town Beach area is to the right of the iron gate (private property). Proceed through the wooden gate to the parking area beyond. Take the trail down to the river.
Note: There is no sandy beach here but a great place to launch or retrieve your canoe, kayak or tube. Best access during low water levels.

Association Beach
From Riverbend Road, take either entrance to Oak Hill. Turn onto Ledgewood Road and drive to the end. Park at either the turnaround at the end of the road or before the large rocks blocking the trail to the river. Follow the well marked trail to the river and beach. During low water levels the beach is great. Shallow straight ahead and deeper on the right side of the beach. Good fishing here.
The trail is approx 1/4 mile long to the river and beach.
Note: During high water levels the trail is partially flooded and impassable unless you want to get wet. In addition, bring plenty of insect repellent when the black flies, mosquitoes and deer flies are in season.

Blue Rock Trail
Blue Rock Trail Observation Area. Entrance to the trail from Ledgewood Road.
The trail and ledge was inspected on 10/9/15. Although the trail is not marked is was an easy hike to the top of the ledge. However tree growth at the edge and below the ledge severely limits the view of the mountains and the river.
